On Wednesday August 15, 2012, we held our third #MuftahChat on Twitter. This week’s topic focused on negotiations between Iran and the P5+1 on the Iranian nuclear program, as well as on the role of sanctions in the negotiation’s process. We were joined by special guest, Reza Marashi, Research Director for the National Iranian American Council (NIAC). Reza shared his insight on the current state of negotiations, the most recent saber rattling against Iran by the Israeli government, as well as prospects for the future.
