We love the Nawaya Network’s mission of empowering underprivileged youth in Lebanon
through athletics and the arts via in-person and online components.
Project name: The Nawaya Network
Project description: The Nawaya Network is a new non-profit organization based in Lebanon. Its aim is to empower promising, underprivileged, at-risk youth by connecting them with educational, financial, and material resources to develop their talents and interests in areas such as art, music, dance and athletics. By opening up opportunities for youth to develop their personal skills, the Nawaya Network helps keep them off the streets and away from crime, violence, and drugs, with the ultimate aim of lifting them out of poverty.
The Naways Network includes a mentorship program, in which Lebanese youth are paired with local mentors with similar interests, as well as an interactive online platform that allows the organization to match youth with various local, regional, and international resources.
