On Wednesday, August 1, we held our second #MuftahChat on Twitter. This week’s topic focused on Yemen’s youth movement during the transitional period. We were joined by special guests, Rafat Al-Akhali, chairman of Resonate Yemen, an NGO focusing on the advancement of youth participation in Yemen, and Sarah Jamal, a blogger and organizer of the Support Yemen campaign. Participants posed a range of interesting questions, including on the organizational structure of the movement and the challenges it currently faces. Below is an edited transcript of the discussion.
