Adnan Tabatabai is a Berlin-based freelance political analyst on Iranian affairs. He has consulted for the German Federal Foreign Office, members of the German Bundestag, political foundations, as well as journalists and authors. Adnan has published analyses and commentaries on Iran for German and English media outlets. He holds an assigned lectureship at Heinrich Heine University Duesseldorf and is an associate researcher for Das Institut für Entwicklung und Frieden’s (Institute for Development and Peace, in English) project, “Peaceful Change and Violent Conflict – the Transformation of the Middle East and Western-Muslim relations.” He is a PhD candidate at the University of Duisburg-Essen.
