Daniel Tavana’s research focuses on democratic governance and constitutional design in transitioning democracies. He is a graduate of the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, where he worked at the Belfer Center and served as the founding Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard Journal of Middle Eastern Politics. Previously, Daniel worked at the Iran Desk and the U.S. Mission to the United Nations at the State Department. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and Masters degrees from Harvard University and Cambridge University.
