Hani AlMadhoun is a full-time Palestinian and development officer at ANERA in Washington, D.C. From distributing millions of dollars worth of medical and humanitarian relief in Palestine to opening school doors to refugees from Syria, Hani works every day to help donors do the great things they want to do. Before joining ANERA, Hani worked at the Jerusalem Fund/Palestine Center, where he served as grants and accounting officer for six years, and the American-Arab Anti-discrimination Committee (ADC). Hani earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Spanish and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Brigham Young University, where he headed the university’s Arabic club.
Hani is a frequent contributor to the Huffington Post and other news sites, where he writes on issues affecting his family, community, and profession. Hani also serves on several boards, including The Main Street Early Child Development Center and American Muslim Health Professionals. He lives in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and two little girls.
