Kelsey P. Norman is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Political Science at the University of California Irvine, where she researches migration and refugees in the Middle East and North Africa. In 2013, Kelsey was a Critical Language Scholar with the Arab American Language Institute in Morocco, and from 2014-2015, she was a visiting scholar with the Center for Migration and Refugee Studies at the American University in Cairo and the Center for Migration Research at Istanbul Bilgi University.
