Melinda Holmes is project adviser to The Carter Center’s initiative on engage religious and traditional actors in advancing the human rights of women and girls. She holds a B.A. in Geography & Anthropology from the University of Southern Maine and a Master’s of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, where she focused on the gendered and religious dynamics of conflict and peacebuilding. Her interests include processes of social norm change, transformative leadership, and the role of faith in society.
