Mend Mariwany @mendlusi

Originally from Baghdad, raised in Germany and based in London, Mend Mariwany has worked for NGOs in the Levant and currently works as a freelance researcher and writer in the Gulf. Mend’s work focuses on exile, race, territories of crises, and the role of Gulf states in the production of crises. Mend holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Politics, and a Master’s in Postcolonial Studies & Global Policy from Goldsmiths College, University of London.
