Mohammed Al Kouh is a self-taught artist from Kuwait. After graduating from Kuwait University in Business Administration & Marketing, he picked up his camera to pursue his passion for photography. In his work, Al Kouh explores his relationship to his home, Kuwait City, and his confrontations with societal contradictions as an adult. His first major exhibition, Tomorrow’s Past, deals with nostalgia by capturing Kuwait’s transforming urban landscape. Al Kouh currently works on a series of portraits of heartbroken lovers, in refugee camps in Lebanon and Turkey.
