Qasim Rashid is an attorney, author, and national spokesperson for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA, a visiting fellow at Harvard University’s School of Islamic Studies and Director of Civil Rights & Policy for KARAMAH: Muslim Women Lawyers for Human Rights. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a juris doctorate from the University of Richmond School of Law. In addition to his academic publications, Qasim’s published work appears in TIME Magazine, The New York Times, Washington Post, The Atlantic, Salon, USA Today, CNN, Daily Beast, Huffington Post, NPR, among several other national and international outlets. He is an avid runner and dreams of one day walking on another planet.
