Samira Irani is a software developer at a start-up in Seattle, and served as Muftah’s Tech Guru. She was previously at Microsoft as a program manager, and has been working in the technology sector for about three years. She has always held a strong interest in the development and politics of the Middle East, especially Iran. She is a passionate believer that education and access to technology will help lead to economic growth and political stability in the region, and plans to pursue a career that would allow her to contribute in those capacities. Samira holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the The University of Texas at Austin.
