Sara Swetzoff holds an MA in Islamic Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London. She is currently an assistant editor with both Fons Vitae Publishing and the journal Sociology of Islam (SOI). She is also a post-baccalaureate student and organizer at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon, where she has particularly benefited from coursework in the Indigenous Nations Studies program. In the fall of 2015 Sara will embark on a PhD in African Studies at Howard University.
