Wadie Said is Professor of Law at the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he teaches classes in Criminal Law and Procedure, Human Rights, Immigration Law, and Counterterrorism. He has published widely on criminal terrorism prosecutions, asylum, and refugee rights. Previously, Prof. Said was an assistant federal public defender at the office of the Federal Public Defender for the Middle District of Florida, and a visiting professor at the University of California, Santa Barbara. A graduate of Columbia Law School, Crimes of Terror is his first book.
