Muftah welcomes unsolicited pitches and one-off articles on relevant regional issues or events.
Our aim is to provide thought-provoking, high-caliber pieces, written in a journalistic-style, that appeal to both foreign policy professionals and a broad general audience. To get a better sense of the type of articles we publish, prospective contributors should familiarize themselves with the pieces featured on Muftah.
We rely on and expect our contributors to ensure that all information contained in their contributions is true and accurate, as we do not have full-time fact checkers. In particular, contributors should provide appropriate citations for any hard facts or quotations contained in their pieces. Unless otherwise informed, we assume that submitted articles are offered for exclusive publication in Muftah and that no piece accepted for publication will be published elsewhere simultaneously in any form without our knowledge. In line with this policy, we do not accept pieces that have already been published in other forums, including on personal blogs.
Submissions and editorial inquiries should be sent via email to [email protected]. Given the large volume of contributions received, we regret that we can only respond to those authors whose pieces have been selected for publication. Please note authors may not dictate the title, photo choice, or publication date for articles submitted to us.
